St. Edward School is dedicated to the education of the total child. We strive to provide for the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development of the student.
The core curriculum is composed of Catholic Religion, reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and physical education. Enrichment classes include music, art and library. Speech & Hearing and Title 1 are provided through federal funding via the Iberia Parish School System.
For students in kindergarten through 3rd grade, standardized tests occur three times a year, beginning/middle/end, using DIBELS. St. Edward 3rd graders are additionally tested each Spring using the ACT Aspire, which focuses on English, Mathematics, Reading and Science.
